Worship @ Grace

The purpose of the Music Ministry at GCC is to lead worshippers in expressing their love and devotion to our Lord in song. Colossians 3:16 tells us that music in the church is also a ministry of the Word as we are to “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God’. The ministry includes people committed to His church who volunteer to be a part of helping the congregation honor and glorify His Holy name. 

Adult Choir

The Adult choir members not only enjoy singing, but consider it a privilege to sing to a wonderful God and Savior. Their main audience is the Lord, and they work very hard because He deserves their best. The choral music, hymns and other congregational songs are carefully selected to ensure that the songs are both “singable” and scriptural. Although the choir works hard, there is also time for fun at rehearsal on Sunday afternoons from 5PM to 6PM.

Praise Band

Also included in Worship @ Grace is the Praise Band. Different people take part in this group as vocalists and instrumentalists. The band leads the congregation in singing the best praise and worship songs as well as contemporary hymn arrangements.

Youth Praise Band

We are excited to start including in our worship services the Youth Praise Band. These young people will lead the congregation occasionally and are also very devoted as they lead weekly in the 4:12 Ministry on Wednesday nights. We are proud of these young people and hope others will get involved and offer their talents in ministry to our Lord.
