Ministry Purpose

As the Student Pastor, your role will be to:

• Develop and provide administrative, organizational, relational, and spiritual leadership to the 4:12 Ministry while working directly with the 4:12 Ministry Youth Leaders.

• Develop a strong education program by building relationships with teachers, students, parents and church leaders that strengthen the students’ commitment to the church and the Lord Jesus Christ.

• Encourage and instruct students in their Christian walk, through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, worship, service and evangelism.
• Equip students to be effective in outreach and disciple the next generation of followers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ministry Opportunity

As you develop in the ministry, you will have further responsibility in adult education (i.e., Sunday School, Discipleship, etc.).

Throughout the year, you will be given the opportunity to preach.

There will be opportunities to accompany the pastor to hospital and in-home visits.

The Elders of Grace desire that the man for this position be teachable, with the mind to share in the work of the ministry alongside the Senior Pastor. We also desire that he have the gift of pastor/teacher with a desire to fully develop what the Lord has already begun in his life and eventually lead him to shepherd the flock of God alongside the Elders and Senior Pastor.

Benefits & Salary

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $70,000. Benefits include full medical insurance (church pays 100% monthly premium), 403B retirement, three weeks vacation, paid holidays, and moving expenses. The actual number of hours required during any given week are those needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Office hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the framework of flexibility for ministry events. Two days off each week (Saturday and one other weekday).
